Initially focused on the marine market, Fell Tech has expanded into other sectors, including home and building management, while maintaining our core principle: prioritizing our customers' needs and well-being as the guiding force behind all our products.
Today, Fell Tech is a renowned developer and manufacturer of electronics, specializing in wireless safety and IoT technology. With innovation at our core, we seamlessly blend cutting-edge wireless and electronics technology with extensive industry experience in product development, electronics, and manufacturing for marine, home, commercial buildings, and outdoor markets.
Our global presence includes subsidiaries like Waterguard, which became part of Fell Tech in 2021, Fell Marine, Fell Connect and direct involvement in co-development projects with large international B2B customers. Our greatest motivation stems from delivering outstanding products that significantly impact the lives of our customers and partners.
Waterguard founded
Waterguard established as a commercial enterprise with the scope of delivering high quality water leakage systems in the Norwegian and Swedish market.
Building Code Mandating Water Leak Systems in Norway
In building code TEK10 as of 2010 it became mandated with automatic water leakage protection systems in homes and buildings in Norway. Boosting the journey for Waterguard.
Student Enterprise
Co-founders Christian and Fredrik won the national student enterprise competition with the idea to create a wireless man-overboard solution.
... with early seed funding from Innovation Norway, Fell Marine was founded.
Launch of MOB+ and WiMEA
After development of MOB+ Wireless Man Overboard System, it was launced in the European market, and successfully developing in-house propriatary wireless protocol WiMEA.
Waterguard more than 500.000 installed units in Norway and Nordics
With more than 500.000 installed units in Norway, Waterguard has become the most recognized brand in water leakage protection systems in Norway.
Launch of MOB+ in the US
After adapting the MOB+ Wireless Man Overboard System and establishing Fell Marine Inc. in the US, we launced in the US market.
Partnering with Mercury Marine
Significant partnership established with Mercury Marine, a Brunswick corporation to co-develop 1st Mate Marine Safety & Security System

ISO9001
Obtaining ISO9001 certification with scope of development of wireless IoT turn-key solution within safety and security, and well established APQP routines and systems.
Launch of 1stMate Marine Safety & Security System
After two year of successful co-development with Mercury Marine, the 1st Mate was launched in Europe and the US. Being produced in Norway.
Merging Waterguard into Fell Tech
Fell Tech established as a technology group company comprising Fell Tech as the mother with subsidaries with Fell Marine, Waterguard, Fell Connect, Fell Energy and Fell Logistics. Development of new Waterguard product to replace old product portfolio and Abra-plattform started.

Expanding team further and establishing solid infrastructure for continued growth
Onboarding more team members and settign up new enterprise solutions to help pivot growth into the future. Development of new Abra plattform, Europa project and new advanced cloud and software architectures for future IoT growth.
Launch of new Waterguard+, Abra-plattform and Europa program
After 3 years of developing significant product and services plattform Fell Tech is bringing out new Waterguard+ water leakage system with cnnectivity bringing the Abra-plattform into more than 60.000 homes and buildings in Norway each year. In the fall of 2023 the Europa project is launcing with Brunswick, now Navico.
